Libohova

Libohova is a quiet and charming town in southern Albania, located on the eastern slopes of Mount Bureto and just a few kilometers from Gjirokastra. Surrounded by green nature, water springs and olive groves, the town offers a peaceful and authentic atmosphere, ideal for visitors seeking culture, history and relaxation.

One of the most important symbols of the city is the Libohova Castle, built in the 18th century and associated with the historical figure of Shanisha Tepelena, sister of Ali Pasha Tepelena.
